Crafty Adults

The Brighton and Hove Neighbourhood Care scheme is a "Good Neighbours" schemethat connects people to their neighbourhood by matching them with local volunteers who can support them in simple ways such as social visits, going out, gardening and odd jobs etc.

WRVS Heritage Plus

This is the Community History Website for the WRVS Heritage plus project. Heritage Plus delivers a range of activities, events and outings celebrating and recording peoples' individual and community histories and is run by the national charity WRVS and funded by the heritage lottery fund. The site contains an extensive archive of memories, photographs, oral history recordings and stories that have been collected through our activities. You are also able to contribute you own memories and photographs to the site to be included in the archive.

WRVS Portslade Heritage Plus

WRVS Hertage Plus is a 3 year project recording peoples' histories through activities, outings and events. Locally offices are based at St Richards and the WRVS unit in Portslade Village. Through delivering heritage activities, WRVS values older people and their contribution to society. Experiences and contributions of participants are recorded and promoted through artistic form into artwork and performance. Heritage Plus is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and delivered in Hastings, Eastbourne,Crawley,Portslade and Peacehaven/Newhaven.
